I set this blog up in order to flesh out a motto that I've developed over the past few months - 'In times of economic panic, either cry yourself to sleep at night or go looking for gold'. Now, call me a dreamer if you like, but there's gold here in the hills of the South Island of New Zealand, so what better place (apart from your Grandma's dressing table) to go looking for the shiny yellow stuff that dreams are made of?
